Kofax has stopped moving documents to import folder

This article explains why documents might not be appearing in the import folder.

To resolve the issue of Kofax not moving documents to the imports folder:

  • On the computer click Start and open the program Kofax: Message Connector Monitor.

  • On the left, in the Component section of the menu, under Status, click Passive Inputs.

  • Under Passive Input Statistics, if the list on the right is blank, the Services need to be restarted.

  • To restart the Services, on the computer, click Start and type Services.

  • Click the Services app.

  • Locate the following two services:

    • Kofax Import Connector - Electronic Documents - KC Plug-In.

    • Kofax Message Connector.

  • Right-click on each in turn and select Restart.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note:

  • Order to restart: Do all that are labelled as Delayed Start before the Automatic Start (message connector).

  • Capture service off last and also restart these first.

  • Restart all others.
