A Nest (National Employment Savings Trust) pension is a government-backed, not-for-profit workplace pension scheme in the UK. It was created to help millions of workers save for retirement and is used by employers to fulfill their legal duties for automatic enrollment.

To run the NEST Pension Extract, please follow these steps:

  1. Click Payroll and then click NEST Pension Extract.

  2. Fill in the required fields:

    1. Employer.

    2. Pension Company.

    3. Pension Scheme.

    4. Files to Output.

    5. Tax Year.

    6. Period From and To you would like to run the extract for (the period must be closed).

    7. Workers Informed of Rights.

    8. New Enrolments.

    9. Payment Frequency.

    10. Location For Extract Files.

  3. Accept the warning message - click OK.

  4. Click OK on the Processing Complete message.

  5. Click Proceed.

The extract is created for the period you have selected in the specified folder location.
