Worker added to wrong WTR scheme

Learn what to if you have added your workers to the wrong WTR (Working Time Regulations) scheme. You added your workers to the Daily scheme but should have chosen Hourly.

Quickly correct a worker’s WTR scheme to ensure their holiday accrual and calculations are accurate going forward.


Correcting a Worker’s WTR Scheme

If a worker has been assigned to the wrong Working Time Regulations (WTR) scheme, you can easily fix this in just a few steps:

  1. Click Workers and then click Movements.

  2. Click Change Worker WTR Scheme.

  3. Enter the correct scheme, then apply the change.


Before You Update

If you’d like to review the impact before making any permanent changes, you can:

  • Export the results to a CSV file to see how the figures will be affected.

  • Leave Update Files unchecked to avoid making changes straight away.

When you're ready, simply set Update Files to apply the update.


What Happens During Conversion

  • When switching from daily accrual to hourly accrual, the system will automatically review previously paid timesheets to calculate the correct accrued hours.

⚠️ Important: The system will not automatically update the worker’s 52-week average pay rate. This will be recalculated during the next period close.
