It is straightforward to update the SMTP server address in the portal and SAFE email.
⚠️ Important: These instructions are only applicable if you have not migrated to OFFICE 365. If you have upgraded to Office 365, you must contact your Account manager immediately as all migrations to Office 365 will need to be carried out by our IT specialists and cannot be done by a third party - as only our IT specialists have access to the 365 configuration files.
Portal
Navigate to your STI Folder.
Within the STI folder find the customer connections folder.
You will find the relevant files needed to amend your IP.
Pay&Bill
Navigate to your Pay&Bill application folder in the associated server.
Find the folder named SAFE.
Once in that folder look for the folder named SAFE MAIL SERVICE.
In that folder look for a file called : SafeMailService.config/exe.
Open the above file and you should be presented with a notepad which you can update with the new IP.
