Set up a CIS worker

Learn how to set up a CIS worker if you are a CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) registered employer.

The instructions provided below are on the basis that you have provided Access Pay & Bill with a CIS UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) number. If you have done so please follow the instructions below. If you haven't you must find your CIS number and enter it in employer maintenance in order to be able to create CIS worker:

  1. Click Workers and then click Supplier Menu.

  2. Click Supplier Maintenance and then press Ctrl+I to insert new record.

  3. Select Construction Industry Scheme from legal status drop down list.

  4. Enter all remaining fields accordingly for the supplier.

  5. Click on Construction Industry tab and fill in CIS details accordingly.

  6. Review supplier details and if satisfied click Exit.
