Set for how many periods workers can retain untaken basic and additional holiday

Learn  what to do if, when approaching the end of the holiday year, you would like to set how many periods your workers can retain last year's untaken basic and additional holiday for.

You can set both the basic and additional by two different parameters, that can be found within Employer WTR Parameter Maintenance.

Please follow these steps to access this area of the system and change each of the respective parameters:

  1. Click Setup and then click Payroll Parameters.

  2. Click Employer WTR Parameter Maintenance and press Ctrl+M to enter modify mode.

  3. Within 1.Details enter the number of periods to keep untaken basic holiday for within the box for Periods To Keep Last Years Untaken Basic Holiday.

  4. For additional holiday parameters click on 2.Details and then under Holiday Pay Options:

  5. Keep Years to Retain Additional Accrual at 1 and in Periods To Retain Additional Accrual enter the number of periods you would like workers to retain untaken additional accrual.

  6. Review Changes, and if satisfied, click OK.
