Change a template code for Client E-Billing

Learn how to change a template code for Client E-Billing.

Once you've created a template, you can't amend the template code. Therefore, you have to delete the template, as you can't have two templates for one client.

Delete a template

  1. Click Invoicing then select Advanced Billing.

  2. Select Ebilling then click Client Template Maintenance.

  3. Find and select the wrongly created template.

  4. Click Yes on the Do you want to delete dialogue.

āš ļø Important: If you're sure this is the template to delete, press the F3 key.


Create a new template

  1. Select the Ctrl+I keys.

  2. Select the Client Ref field, press F5 and find the appropriate client.

  3. Click Select then select the Template Type field.

  4. Press the F5 key.

  5. Select Ebilling for this example, and select both the Input and Output checkboxes.

  6. Click Select, then select the Template Code field.

  7. Press the F5 key then select the appropriate Template.

  8. Select the directory field, press the F5 key.

  9. Navigate to and select the appropriate file, and click Open.

  10. To select the output file type, select either the CSV or PDF check box.

  11. Select the Output to PDF field, and press the F5 key.

  12. Select the file and click Open.

  13. Enter the Send from Email Address field with an appropriate sending email.

  14. Check all the above chosen parameters are satisfactory.

  15. Click Exit.
