Payslip emails have no subject or body text

Learn where you can define the subject and body text of payslip emails.

Payslip email subject and body is set up via an email trigger or an XML template dependent on whether the role EPayslips is active.

If the EPayslips role is not active:

  1. Click the Set Up menu and click Employer Maintenance.

  2. Click the Email/SMS tab.

  3. Add or amend a trigger of type Payslip Print to your requirements.

  4. Ensure that the Alert Workers By option is set to Email and that the Active box is ticked.

If the EPayslips role is active:

  1. Click the Set Up menu and click Employer Maintenance.

  2. Click the 5 Details tab.

  3. The Email Template Path points to the template file currently in use. You can modify an existing template outside of the application, or copy an existing template and amend this field to point at the new template.
