The Holiday Entitlement and Pay reforms for Part-Year and irregular-hour workers contain major changes to how your Workers will accrue holiday, be paid holiday and carry over leave.
With such a wide range of impact, we would recommend that you consult your legal or business impact resources to understand how these reforms affect your business.
Pay and Bill functionality has been developed according to compliance with the guidelines and legislation stated by the government sources available. Whilst every attempt has been made to align our product to be compliant the legislation and guidelines are open to differences in interpretation.
A full testing strategy is recommended on your test system to ensure you are fully aware of the outcomes and are satisfied with how your worker's entitlement and pay are calculated before you activate the functionality on Employers within your live environment.
After the activation process has been completed within your Employers you will not be able to revert back to the legacy method of calculation. Unless you take the necessary backups and plan for this scenario.
If you have bespoke functionality within the holiday calculation and pay for your workers, the functionality contained in this release will not be affected and any changes required should be made via Access Consultant services.
The release notes contain the following sections:
UK Government Legislation and Guidelines
Configuration and Data checklist
Employer WTR Activation
WTR calculations post activation
